ABOUT Andrea:
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Missouri with my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester, New Hampshire, and my Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Maryville University, Saint Louis. I have practiced for 13 years as a professional Counselor with Preferred Family Healthcare, Mercy Hospital Saint louis, Compass Healthcare and in private practice in O’Fallon, Missouri. I have experience working with clients age 10 and older using a Cognitive Behavioral approach to Mindfulness. I also enjoy working with couples using an Emotion Focused approach to resolving conflict and building effective communication skills. I thoroughly enjoy working with individuals, adolescents, young adults, and their families to reduce conflict, and foster positive relationships and independence. I am practiced in supporting clients in reducing and managing the symptoms of ADHD, anxiety,depression, high functioning Autism, Complex Trauma and Obsessive-Compulsive disorder. I strive to build a positive, welcoming, and empathetic relationship with all my clients to help identify and resolve struggles of their own or with others in their lives. I look forward to meeting you! I am a mother of four and a grandmother of four. I live with my husband and three Standard Poodles, Casper, Maggie, and Symphony. My husband and I enjoy riding together our two horses Hank and Zeus. |
