I began my clinical career working with children over 25 years ago. Admittedly, I’m a child at heart, and a neurodivergent (ND) person myself, which has been a driving force in my work and personal life. The remarkable ability of children to learn, adapt, and grow in the face of their differences has always amazed me and motivates my work each and every day. I’ve cherished my experiences as the clinical director of a statewide agency, an adjunct college professor, and as a clinical provider in public and private schools across the state of Maine for nearly 20 years.
I have specialized in working with neurodivergent clients across the age range, but with a more recent focus on children and adolescents using an eclectic array of approaches drawn from evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and parent training.
I currently provide evaluation and consultation services for children, adolescents, and adults with a focus on helping to identify client needs, challenges, and methods to help them thrive in their daily lives.
