As a Registered Play Therapist, I specialize in supporting children who are navigating anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. I believe that play is a child’s natural language, and through it, children can safely explore their inner world, express complex emotions, and develop effective coping skills.
My therapeutic approach is warm, engaging, and child-centered. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where children feel empowered to be themselves and build resilience. I also partner closely with parents and caregivers, offering guidance to help strengthen the parent-child relationship and support emotional growth at home.
In my work with children, I use a combination of non-directive and directive play therapy, tailoring each session to the individual needs of the child. I also integrate cognitive- behavioral strategies to help children recognize unhelpful thought patterns, build emotional regulation skills, and develop practical coping tools. This blended approach supports both emotional expression and skill development, empowering children to feel more confident, capable, and connected. For the past 12 years, I have worked in the field of education, with a primary focus on early childhood development. This background has given me a deep understanding of the social, emotional, and developmental needs of young children. In addition to my work in education, I have also practiced as a therapist in the evenings, supporting children and families through a range of emotional and behavioral challenges.
