As a therapist for children, adolescents, and adults, my passion is helping people feel empowered to be their most authentic selves. I work with individuals and families navigating a wide range of life stressors, with a particular focus on strengthening relationships, improving emotional understanding, and supporting healthier patterns of connection and communication. I especially enjoy working with middle school–aged clients and families, while also supporting clients across the lifespan.
I believe therapy is most effective when it is grounded in a strong therapeutic relationship built on attunement, trust, and collaboration. From there, the work may involve building insight, developing coping skills, or increasing emotional regulation depending on each client’s needs and stage of life. I approach therapy flexibly, meeting clients where they are and adapting interventions to support their goals in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable.
In my experience, many clients seek support for emotional dysregulation, self-esteem concerns related to neurodivergence, anxiety, and complex family dynamics. I also have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism, as well as individuals navigating systems or relationships where they have felt misunderstood or unseen.
My clinical style is relational, creative, and responsive to the needs of each client. I often integrate play-based and creative approaches across age groups, including adults, along with humor, reflection, and attuned emotional tracking. I believe play and creativity can provide important pathways for emotional expression, distance from distress, and regulation. Clients have described feeling deeply seen, understood, and accepted in a way that allows them to show up more fully as themselves.
When working with children and families, I focus on building safety through connection, consistency, and individualized supports. This may include play-based interventions, sensory or comfort strategies, emotional coaching, or simply sitting with a child through difficult moments. I also support clients who may take longer to build trust, honoring the pace of engagement without pressure to perform or present in a certain way.
I also have experience supporting individuals and families from high-stress and complex backgrounds, including those impacted by trauma, behavioral concerns, emotional dysregulation, and difficult or blended family dynamics. I am particularly mindful of the needs of marginalized communities, including neurodivergent individuals and LGBTQ+ clients who have experienced significant invalidation or exclusion.
My mission is to help clients feel comfortable in their own skin and empowered to be themselves, while building emotional resilience, healthier relationships, and a greater sense of internal stability and confidence.
