Upcoming Workshop: Your Mood on FoodMindful eating is a new approach to your relationship with food. When eating mindfully, you become more aware of physical hunger or satiety and focus more on your body’s needs while being in the present moment. This lifestyle promotes the use of all your senses to decide what to eat that is both satisfying to you and nourishing to your body without overeating.
In this session, you will explore the 8 hungers, and discuss the how, what, when and whys of eating. We will learn how to navigate the world of food and eating through non-judgmental listening and simple mindful eating exercises that can assist them in relating differently to food and eating. Finally, we will spend time practicing mindful eating with a variety of foods. |
